 " दीदी , आप हमारे जीवन के सबसे दयालु और सबसे खुशमिजाज व्यक्ति थीं। आपने अपनी अंतिम सांस तक अपने चेहरे पर एक बड़ी मुस्कान के साथ जीवन में अविश्वसनीय कठिनाइयों का सामना किया। जब मैं भारत वापस आने से पहले आपके साथ अस्पताल में था, तो आपने मुझे अपने खेल पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने और आपकी चिंता न करने के लिए कहा था," 

“वे शब्द ही एकमात्र कारण थे कि मैं कल रात वापस आकर मैदान में उतर सका। अब मैं आपको याद करने और सम्मान देने के लिए बस इतना ही कर सकता हूं। मैं वह सब कुछ करना जारी रखूंगा जिससे आपको मुझ पर गर्व हो। मैं आपको अपने जीवन के हर पल, अच्छे समय और बुरे में याद करूंगा। मै आपसे बहुत प्यार करता हूं। ईश्वर आपकी आत्मा को शांति प्रदान करें। "
